Growbots 3.0 is finally knocking to our doors. We believe it’s an amazing change which will empower you and your team to get even better results in less time. If you want to learn how the new app looks like, check out this article. As you can see, the changes are fundamental so we had to prepare the migration plan which will adjust your current entities to the new design. Read this article to understand how we will migrate all your data and how the whole process will look like.
Your subscription will stay the same. We will transfer the number of credits and the renewal date which you can check in the Dashboard.
We’re transfering all your Do Not Contact lists to the new app which will exclude companies in the same way. You don’t have to worry about the Salesforce configuration either - if you connected it in Growbots 2.0, you will find it in 3.0!
Furthermore, in the Growbots 3.0 app you will still have your email addresses but it’s worth to go to Settings and update the Sender’s custom fields. Here you will find instruction on how to do it.
In the new app you will find all your users from your organization and the same account settings:
- Automatic out of office rescheduling
- Folder management
- Click tracking
- Beta tests
- BCC address
In the new app, you can find two entities: sequences and templates. All your cadences will be fully transferred to sequences. The name/title will stay the same and you will be able to see your results achieved so far and use the cadence (now: sequence) in the future campaigns.
We’re splitting your current cadences into individual messages/emails and creating templates out of them. The first emails will have the initial type and all the following messages will be considered follow-ups. Their names/titles will depend on your cadence name and step in the flow. For example, the first message from your cadence “Growbots test” will have the name “Growbots test #1”.
All cadences which haven’t been used for last 3 months will be moved to Archived tab.
A campaign is a combination of your target group and a sequence and that’s why you won’t see projects anymore. Each campaign groups together prospects generated in the same project and contacted with the same cadence. We noticed that most of the projects and cadences had the same names so for all such situations your campaign will have the name of your project (and a cadence) in the old app. However, if you had any situation that your project and cadence used in it had different names, the new campaign will be called “Project name x Cadence name”.
If you rejected any prospects or companies, the new app will know about it. The contacts rejected from your Projects will be rejected in the proper campaign and if you rejected anyone permanently, this prospect or company will be blacklisted. You can find the list of blacklisted prospects in Settings -> Exclusions.
You can use your previously created campaigns to generate more prospects and contact new people or make some changes in the setup.
Generate new prospects in Prospecting tab. This can be found when you click into the campaign. You can browse the prospect list and accept, reject or blacklist prospects and companies.
You can change the targeting criteria in Target tab just like in the old Edit project section.
In the Sequence tab, you can see which templates are used in the communication and adjust them to use your best performing messages.
In the new app we have 3 outbound strategies:
- Persona based - using this strategy you’ll specify your target, generate prospects from our database and schedule a flow of communication to be sent from one or more of your email addresses.
- Export - this strategy starts exactly the same like the first one, you choose the target and generate prospects, but the workflow ends with exporting a CSV file containing prospects’ details.
- Import - this strategy allows you to use our email automation system for the prospects that you already have from other sources.
Each of your campaigns will be created with the strategy corresponding your actions in the old app. For example, if you have any projects where you schedule only the imported prospects, it will be the Importing strategy.
The search criteria are almost the same so your targets in both apps will work in the same way. Notice that we have only one location so the old app search(basic and advanced) will be merged into one. We also updated the company size ranges so we will adjust this criterion for you accordingly.
The great news is that you will see all your accepted prospects in the new app with their whole history of communication. Each contact will be assigned to the proper campaign but keep in mind that if you sent a few cadences to this prospect, only the most recent one will be visible.
Also, we will analyze the status of each accepted prospect in the old app and add the corresponding state, stage and status in the new app.
During the migration process, we will pause all your ongoing messages in the old app. When the migration is done, we will unpause all these prospects so the campaigns will be continued. You will be able to find all the contacts with ongoing messages in the proper campaigns (Project name x Cadence name). All the emails will be sent according to your timing conditions but there might be a small delay for the ones which were going to be sent during the migration process. Remember that Timeline will show all your ongoing messages so you can control the number of messages going out. If you don’t want to worry about exceeding any email limit, check out our new sending limit feature which will do it automatically.
From now on you’ll be able to see the results achieved so far in three app sections: Templates, Sequences and Campaigns. The Templates stats present overall rates for anytime this template was used in any sequence or campaign. The Sequences stats present overall rates for the performance of the overall sequence. The Campaigns stats show you the global results of each campaign. You can read more about checking and analyzing your results here.
