Below is a break down of how Growbots’ scheduling works in an example sequence. This is based on an empty account, with only this campaign scheduled.
Your sequence is set up this way (3 emails total):
- First email is sent 9 am - 11 am prospect timezone Monday - Friday
- Second email is sent 6 days later at 12pm - 2pm prospect timezone Monday - Friday
- Third email is sent 8 days later at 9am - 11am prospect timezone Monday - Friday (since this timing is before the previous email's time slot, one day is added. It is now 9 days later)
In the screenshot below, the emails are listed as such:
1 - first email in the sequence
2 - second email in the sequence
3 - third email in the sequence
They are color coordinated them so you can see how emailing 589 prospects with a 150 daily email limit would work.
There will be 4 sets of sending. Since 150 does not evenly go into 589, the last set of first emails is smaller. 589/150= 3.9. The last set of emails has 139 prospects instead of 150 (in blue).
The day delay does count the weekends, but since you are not allowing your sequences to send out on the weekends some emails are pushed to the next week, see second screenshot.
