Sending cold campaigns to people while they enjoy the Thanksgiving dinner or when you're away on vacation doesn't sound like the best idea. Luckily, you can easily exclude selected dates from your sending schedule.
All sending exclusions are connected to the user account. This means that if you add a date range when emails shouldn't be sent, it will be applied to all email channels connected to your Growbots account.
Go to Settings -> Your account. Scroll down to the Outbox settings section. Right there, you can see two options:
- Exclude Federal US holidays
- Exclude custom dates
Exclude Federal US holidays
By default, we exclude sending emails on federal US holidays. If you would like to turn this feature off, you can simply click on the slider.
Exclude custom dates
You can exclude custom dates, whenever you decide that sending emails in that period is not a good idea. That could work when you're on vacation or before important holidays.
Simply pick the start and end dates in the calendar and we'll exclude them from sending new emails.
NOTE: Excluding will work only for the campaigns scheduled afterward. If you have some emails you scheduled previously, you can reschedule them and new settings will be applied.
